Grand Opening

IKEA Charlotte opening February 18, 2009!

Air out your camping gear! Customers can begin lining up at IKEA Charlotte at 9:00 AM on Monday morning, February 16, 2009 – in advance of our February 18, 2009 opening. We are going to be doing something special for everyone on opening morning so you do not have to be the first, second, or third customer in line* in order to share in the fun. Keep checking for updates!

*There will be no specific prize given to just the first, second, or third customer in line.

I spent 4 hours tonight with Richard [my 78 yr old ex-next door neighbor]. He is getting way worse and I spent the first hour being stern and telling him that he needs medical attention and that I didn't care if he thought he was going through a personal spiritual crisis. By the end of the night I realized that I have to just let him be comfortable and comfort to him is being in his apartment dealing with his situation alone.

I'm scared of the day he doesn't answer his phone and I'll be the one to find him in his apartment. Is it wrong of me to accept his decision?

Actually I don't want anyone to answer that because I would answer it differently if I had not been spending all this time with him. Right now I think it's the right thing to do. As I told him, I have to try and not worry and just continue to just be the girl who comes and does his laundry and has the occasional dinner with him.
