Breaking news....I now have a source of Cheerwine in Portland!!!! There is no longer a reason for the rest of you to stay in NC. Cheerwine is available in a glass bottle (made with cane sugar, not high fructose corn syrup) just a few blocks from my house!
Some NC peeps started a biscuit place here call Pine State Biscuits. This morning I had vegetarian biscuits and gravy. Next time....pimento cheese!!!!
