estate sale of lawyer/artist/collector/museum curator/collector and world famous architect son in hollin hills

There is still a good selection of books still available from the library of the late Doug Michels, the visionary and futurist architect who was one of the creators of Cadillac Ranch and Media Burn.
FINAL TWO PUBLIC SALE DAYS (advertised in THE WASHINGTON POST) even though we are still unpacking great things. Come with boxes and bags to get great package deals -------- the more you buy, the bigger the discounts. There is still a great selection of everything ---- antique, vintage, mid-century modern and more recent pieces. There are still one of a kind pieces from Japan, Africa, America, Europe, Scandinavia, etc. ...................................... There is everything from furniture to lamps, baskets, original art, fabulous textiles (including museum quality pieces from Japan and Africa), books, office equipment, art & crafts supplies, etc. ................................................... We will continue to unpack more treasures through tomorrow. The very special pieces (some of which have not been on public view) can be seen by appointment after the public sale ends.
We went this weekend. Interesting things to be found. Even more interesting if you have $4000 lying around for a set of Wassily Chairs and the table.
