This is a great PBS documentary comparing transportation options between Denver, NYC, and Portland. The Portland portion was very interesting. It focused on the huge population of bike commuters along with how the government has, since the 70's, been using the federal money allocated for highways towards alternative forms of transportation. I love this town.
